Borghese | Fango Active Radiance Facial Oil

I was fortunate enough to have a few items from the Borghese line sent to me for consideration. This product really stands out because it has become a staple for my night routine. After I cleanse and tone my face, the Borghese Fango Radiance Facial Oil is the cherry on top!

I just a apply a few drops and I gently pat it in to my face. It leaves my skin incredibly soft and absorbs quickly. I have been drawn to oil based moisturizers lately as they appear to absorb deeper into the skin. When you wake up it really feels like you had a facial. Just a side note, I have combination skin.

My face feels extra smooth and looks radiant. I have been using this product for about one month and I feel it has improved the texture. I cannot wait to try other products!

Ingredients: caprylic/capric triglyceride, isopropyl, palmitate, isopropyl myristate, isododecane, prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, persea gratissima (avocado) oil, vitis vinifera (grape) seed oil, sesamum indicum (sesame) seed oil, macadamia ternifolia seed oil, oenothera biennis (evening primrose) oil, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, hyaluronic acid, collagen amino acids, adenosine triphosphate, hydrolyzed collagen, sea salt (maris sal), sodium sulfate, sodium chloride, sodium carbonate, potassium chloride, tocopheryl acetate, retinyl palmitate, ascorbyl palmitate, water (aqua), propylene glycol, fragrance (parfum), citronellol, coumarin, geraniol, linalool, phenoxyethanol, yellow 11 (cl 47000), green 6 (cl 61565).

Urban Decay | Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer

I wanted to really use this for a while to determine if it was a lot of hype or a really good product. I have heard several mixed reviews on it. I can honestly say this is my go-to concealer at the moment as far as high end products.

I like how the UD Naked Skin concealer feels on the skin and the coverage it provides. It's a light formula but yet the coverage is there. It kind of smells like paint but I like it. I also like to quickly set it with powder, although it's not really needed.

You can also use this as a highlight for under the eye, nose, cupid's bow, and mid forehead if you get a shade lighter. It's a versatile product and I heard there was a drugstore dupe for it if you do not want the higher end price. I'll try it out soon and share with you of course!

Cons- I wish you got more product for the price and it's not as hydrating as other concealers that I've tried.

How to: Pictorial for Soft, Fuller Lips like Kylie Jenner

Wanna get Kylie's pout without the lip injection commitment?

Well, I have put together a little pictorial on how I prep and apply my lipstick for the smoothest application. During the process I will let you know how this can assist you with the appearance of fuller lips!
I'll post the step-by-step photos with an explanation below each:

  • I grab my exfoliator, [I'll list all products used at the end of the tutorial. Usually, I damp my lips a bit because it applies better that way.]
  • In a circular motion, I apply the exfoliator all over my lips.
  • #3 is showing that my lips have been scrubbed.
  • I then continue to rub in and 'heat' up the product using my finger.
  • Take a hand towel and continue to exfoliate further as you are wiping it off.
  • Lightly apply your favorite lip balm (not pictured).
I just want to elaborate a little more as to why I added steps #4 and #5 for you. These steps assist with bringing blood circulation to the lips and help plump them. I skip this step on a regular basis because my lips are naturally fuller. If you have naturally full lips, you can skip these steps and just smack/rub your lips together to ensure all of the dead skin is being removed. This can be done a few times a week for everyone. I tend to have drier lips, so this really helps me a lot. Also, you can use any lip exfoliator.
You can also use a tooth brush, a towel or sometimes I use my cleansing system and I quickly go over them with it. My preferred method is a yummy scrub though!

  • To make sure my lipstick last just a little longer, I pat on translucent powder or any powder that you may have.
  • Take your lip liner and line your lips.
  • Then, I take the lip liner and fill in my lips.
  • I apply the lipstick that closely matches my lip liner.
  • Ta-dahhh! You now have soft, fuller lips and a pretty pout of lipstick!
If you want, you can repeat steps #6-#9 to really create a barrier. I usually just do this once and throw my lip products in my bag for touch ups!

Buxom Customizable Eyeshadow Bar Palette

I wanted to share a palette that I've been enjoying. It's the Buxom Customizable Eyeshadow Bar Palette. I love that they make it affordable and basically give you customizable tray free when you order 6 shadows. I think the price point is really good at $40.00 ($85.00 value with shadows) to select the shades you want and you can easily swap them out. The shadows are pigmented but not too pigmented and last all day. I prefer them with a primer because I have oily eyelids.

I really like that you receive the palette case and you pop in your shades that you've selected. I think it is a fun concept.

I customized the following palette and I like neutrals so these shades were perfect. I also like to test new palettes/shadows with neutrals first.

The case is perfect for travel or being on the go.

From left to right: Bold Bling, Mink Magnet, Invite Only, Spoiled Sexy, Star Treatment, and Big Spender

Here are the swatches of the shadows with and without flash.

Review: Becca Cosmetics Collab w/ Jaclyn Hill | Champagne Pop

Compliments of refinery29
Hi guys! I just got into highlighters and let me tell you, the Becca collab with Jaclyn Hill is just amazing! It's not all hype, the shade is beautiful for all skin tones. It's shimmery in the best way. It makes you look angelic to say the least.

Looking at the photo and swatch below does not do it justice. I think it's perfect for Summer but all year round as well.

"A soft white, gold shade with pinky peach undertones."

I like to apply to the highest point of my cheekbone and I extend in a circular motion toward my temple and little above my eyebrows. Also, the inner corner of my eyes, cupids bow, and bridge of my nose. Sometimes, I also use it as my brow bone color for a pop since I usually use a matte shade.

This shade is everything!
You can even use it in the middle of your lid for a splash of sparkle and to brighten your eyes.

PS- Isn't Jaclyn beautiful in the photo above!?

Overall, in Jaclyn terms, this highlighter gets a YASSSS!

Also, this is said to be limited edition, so go to the Sephora site now and grab yours!

Until next time,
Rose
