Candy Club Subscription Box

I was lucky enough to receive a Candy Club subscription box. I mean really, who wouldn't love this?!

The concept is really fun and you get to share your preferences so you can receive the perfect three tubs. I received a sour candy box and the candy was fresh and so good. I really liked the presentation and how the candies are displayed in clear tubs. It's a great gift idea year round and again, who wouldn't want this?

Here is one of the questions below and it is overall a really fun website. The price of the box is really reasonable compared to other candy that you would find at a mall location.

I thought the color scheme and the extra detail of sprinkling candies around the tubs was a cute idea.

I shared this box of course and everyone kept commenting how fresh the candy was and what good quality it was. I would recommend the Candy Club subscription for yourself or as a gift.

Also, they were nice enough to give me a $10 off code for my awesome blog readers!

Lush: Happy Daze Gift Box Review

I received this awesome box of Lush bath bombs from my brother for Christmas. I have never tried any of their products.... it's okay if you judge, I would too. I have no idea why it took me so long to try products from Lush. I love the packaging and it comes with two bath bombs and two swirly delights that create a bubble bath.

I could smell them through the packaging and couldn't wait to open it.

The bath bombs were packaged really well and the scent was amazing. I wish you could scratch and sniff these! I wanted to run the water and try them all.

Here is what the Happy Daze gift box comes with:

I like that the brand does not test on animals and their products are handmade. The only one that I wouldn't purchase would be 'Granny Takes a Dip' - I like fruity and citrus scents and it is more on the spice scented end.

I love what it does to your bath water and it is truly relaxing. They have so many more that I want to try. If you like taking baths, these are a must! Also, I think some of them would be fun for kids. They're also a very generous size, you can get a couple of uses of each one or use the whole bath bomb.

Review: Gel Fantasy Nails by KISS in "To the Max"

I hope everyone had a happy holiday, if you celebrate!

I recently went to my holiday party hosted by my job. I worked in the morning and wanted my nails done in the last minute, how I do most things... Going to the nail salon after work was not something I wanted to do nor was it time savvy.

I saw that my friends co-worker had used Kiss gel nails at another holiday party I attended and thought I would give them a try. I went to Target and grabbed the pair for under $10 (pictured above) as I like the nail art and thought they looked festive.

I had never used press on nails up until this point and didn't know what to expect. It came with 24 nails and they fit my small nails! I saw that it came with a sticker adhesive that didn't look like it would keep the nail on securely and glue. I opted for the glue option and quickly put them on, I held each nail after applying glue on the press on and my natural nail for 5-10 seconds.

I immediately loved that they actually looked like I got my nails done at the nail salon but took me less than 10 minutes and less than $10 to achieve. I even received compliments on them as if I got them done professionally- but told everyone they were press on to spread the good word.

To take them off, I used foil, nail polish remover and cotton pads to loosen the glue. I will be trying more press on nails as this was a time + money saver! The nails could easily stay on for a good two weeks. Also, they come in a short and medium length. I selected medium.

Lastly, I like that I did not have the thinning and yellow tint that polish and/or acrylics can leave behind. I did have some glue on a few of my natural nails and I removed it with acetone based nail polish remover.

Have you tried these and what did you think?

e.l.f. cosmetics: NEW Quality Budget Beauty Finds | 2015

Is it just me or has e.l.f. cosmetics really been stepping up their game? I tried the line years ago and the formulation and packaging has come a long way.  I wanted to share my current e.l.f. favorites and next I want to try the new brushes!

I tend to have dry lips and I love their original lip exfoliator but they have came out with two new flavors. One is mint maniac and I am mint obsessed, so I have to purchase it and I have no regrets. I love the color of it too.

It has the same exfoliating beads as the original and your lips feel instantly smooth and refreshed. It has a sugar taste to it and does not taste bad. I like to use this before applying liquid lipsticks or a matte lipstick. I also like using it before bed and than slathering on lip balm. I still like the original and I will probably not try the cherry scent as I have heard it has a very artificial taste to it.

Sticking to lip products, I just tried a gloss on a whim and I loved it. I bought the EX-tra Lip Gloss in Michael. I really like how it feels on the lips and it is not really sticky. It also leaves a hint of a lip stain behind which I love. It is not completely opaque but gives the perfect amount of coverage and shine. Your pout will thank you!

The next item really shocked me as it is so pigmented and the shades are so flattering. It is their Blush Palette in 'dark.' They also the same palette in 'light' and both are equally a must have.

Top two swatches = top two shades/Bottom two=bottom two shades $6.00
The blushes are not powdery, they are highly pigmented and I was overall really impressed with this palette. I also love that it comes with a mirror and it is convenient for travel.

Last but certainly not least, I bought the highly sought after Illuminating Palette. Yes, you need it in your life! It is so buttery smooth to the touch and I like the subtle yet buildable highlight options that the palette offers.

It also comes with a mirror and four lovely shades to add a nice glow to your face. I also like that these can double as a shadow if you'd like or you can use it for an inner eye highlight. It will not be dramatic like the Balms, Mary-Lou Manizer or Becca's, Champagne Pop but it will give you a pretty, natural glow.

The swatches do it no justice. $6

What are some of your favorite e.l.f. products?
